DV Releases Basic to Advanced NX6 book

We have just released our latest book, Basic to Advanced NX6 Modeling, Drafting and Assemblies!
Basic to Advanced NX6 Modeling, Drafting and Assemblies is the newly revised version of our previous CAD training textbooks.  We have greatly expanded the content, detail, and exercises included in this edition.
Topics include:  Synchronous and Master Modeling; Fundamental and Intermediate Curves; Editing Entities; Design, Reference Surface and Detail Features; Sheet Metal Features; and Injection-Molded Parts and Castings.
Using NX6 is like playing a piano.  In the same way chords are as important as individual notes, NX commands are far more powerful when used in concert with others.  Our book makes an effort to show not only the details of the most important commands, but the powerful combinations that we have used to bring about excellent designs.

"Advanced Simulation Using Nastran NX5/NX6" Releases

At the end of September, we will release our newest book,  Advanced Simulation Using Nastran NX5 / NX6 by Stephen M. Samuel, Benjamin Stevenson and Eric Weeks.  This is “A Learning Manual For People Who Design Stuff!” 

In Advanced Simulation Using Nastran NX5 / NX6, we will work on representative components and assemblies to learn all the skills needed to conduct various finite element analyses. 

This book has been written with the goal of making advanced finite element analysis techniques more accessible to those who are doing the initial design of engineering components and assemblies.  This manual can be used as your continual cheat sheet for NX5 / NX6 Advanced Simulation/Nastran software.

When design engineers in your enterprise master these techniques, they will be able to augment their design processes with better information sooner. This can easily lead to huge savings by avoiding failures and getting the answers to design questions without the expense of prototypes.

Did you know we offer forensic engineering services?  We've been doing it for years and years. 

Our highly skilled engineering team has the experience needed to analyze and investigate crash accidents, injuries, patents, and products.

We utilize tried and true methods of forensic engineering including: reverse engineering, fault and failure analysis, investigation of materials and components, examination of witness statements and other court documents.

We create full reports, 3D computer animations / simulations of the accident, injury scene, or device, and can appear in court as your engineering expert witness.
